How It All Started... Mr. Adrian’s martial arts journey started in 2007 with a local recreational program called "Young Champions." While he attended Young Champions, he was able to achieve his deputy black belt. After 8 years, Mr. Adrian transitioned to Erolin 3DMA. He says, “Transitioning from Young Champions to Erolin 3DMA was a challenge at first but was quickly overcome with the welcoming presence of his new dojo family.”
Martial arts has taught Mr. Adrian many lessons and quality skills that he can use in every situation of life. Among those that he attributes to martial arts are his discipline, confidence, and respectful nature. When he transitioned between dojos, he wasn’t as confident with sparring as some of the other higher-ranked students but as he pursued forward, he became more confident during sparring. In his words, “Because of my helpful sparring partners and Sensei Matt, my confidence in sparring skyrocketed.” Mr. Adrian’s humble attitude and his helpful nature helped him achieve his First Dan Black Belt with Erolin 3DMA in August 2020. His 13-year journey in martial arts has been a long but fulfilling one which includes a lot of bumps in the road, great hurdles, and times of uncertainty. With all the experiences and lessons he’s learned along the way, he’s excited to provide others with the help and guidance at Erolin 3DMA. Mr. Adrian’s goal: “I promise to help others progress in their journey while also progressing my own.” |
